The 6th-annual Global Poker Awards are right around the corner and will be streamed live from the PokerGO Studios on Saturday, February 22nd. New PokerStars ambassador Caitlin Comeskey leads the way with four nominations.
Comeskey, a two-time Global Poker Awards winner, is nominated for Best X Personality, Best Short-Form Content Creator, Best Short-Form Video, and Most Entertaining Player.
Marle Spragg and Joe Stapleton also earned three nominations each while Barny Boatman, Nikki Limo, Abby Merk, David Lappin, Dara O’Kearney, Barry Carter, and Daniel Negreanu each received two nominations.
The 2024 GPI Awards will also be served out, as Player of the Year David Coleman, Mid-Major Player of the Year Han Feng, Female Player of the Year Cherish Andrews will all collect their awards at the ceremony.
PGT Player of the Year and 2024 PGT Championship winner Jeremy Ausmus will also be recognized, as well as Jesse Lonis, as he secured the most weeks atop the GPI rankings last year.
