2025 WSOP Tournament of Champions Back in Los Angeles

The very first bracelet on the 2025 WSOP schedule will be awarded at the Commerce Casino and Hotel on May 17th.

The Tournament of Champions is back in Los Angeles for the second consecutive league year, with the event held from May 15th to the 17th.

The three-day tournament is a $1,000,000 freeroll, eligible to those who won a bracelet or a WSOP Circuit ring since the end of last year’s TOC.

The tournament is a freezeout, so regardless of the amount of WSOP hardware players have won over the last year, players are only allowed one entry.

In 2024, Dong Meng won $200,000, topping the 562-entry field to win his second bracelet, having qualified after winning the $1,000 Flip and Go bracelet event at the 2023 WSOP. Those are his only two recorded live tournament wins.

The Tournament of Champions was announced as a part of the final WSOP Circuit stop of the season. The Commerce will play host as 18 Circuit rings from May 8th to the 24th, with $3,500,000 in combined guarantees.

The centerpiece of the Circuit stop is the $1,700 Main Event, which comes with an eye-watering $2,000,000 guarantee.

In an unusual move, WSOP has decided to put the Main Event in the middle of the series, conveniently starting on Day 2 of the Tournament of Champions, hoping to cash in on the players traveling to play the TOC.
