Plenty of gold will be on the line for WSOP.com for players in Nevada and New Jersey from Feb. 25 to March 8. The WSOP.com Online Circuit returns with 13 championship rings awarded in 13 days.
That also includes $1 million in guarantees. It may not be the Main Event in Las Vegas, but the series brings players some added prestige and value.
Battling for a WSOP Circuit ring online
The Online Circuit offers a nice chance to experience the excitement of a WSOPC event. That includes the same hardware winners could expect at one of the stops around the country.
There’s even more incentive to get in the action. Just like live events, online players can earn a shot at the 2019-20 Global Casino Championship.
Winners receive points based on the number of entries and payout percentages in each ring event. Participants can then qualify for the Global Championship in one of the following ways:
- Win the Online Circuit Main Event on March 8.
- Win the WSOP.com Online Circuit Casino Championship by accumulating the most points throughout the entire schedule.
The Global Casino Championship is the culmination of the WSOP Circuit schedule and awards the winner a gold bracelet each year. The event has been held for the last five years Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina and features a $1 million guarantee.
Ryan Eriquezzo took home the Global title in 2019 for $279,431. This year’s event is set for August again at Harrah’s Cherokee and will once again be featured on ESPN.
Breaking down the WSOP.com schedule
The Online Circuit should be a nice event for online players looking for a bit extra. Most events feature No Limit Hold’em in the $200 to $320 range.
Events kick off on Feb. 25 with the $200 NLHE Knockout with a $25,000 guarantee. A major highlight of the schedule is the $320 Monster Stack on March 1. That event allows features a $150,000 guarantee.
Rounders looking for even bigger action will want to check out the $1,000 High Roll Six-Max on March 3 with a $100,000 guarantee. Omaha fans are also in luck with a $215 PLO event set for March 6 with a $40,000 guarantee.
The $525 Circuit Main Event wraps up the series on March 8 with a $300,000 guarantee on the line. Certainly scoring some gold in that event would be a nice bullet point on any poker resumé.
Along with the packed schedule of ring events, WSOP.com is also offering some big satellite action. The Mega Satellite on March 7 offers players a chance into the Main Event for a bargain price of only $50.
The event guarantees 20 seats and should attract plenty of players hoping to score a spot in the championship. Check out the full schedule below.
