GGPoker is bringing players a bit of good fortune as part of the new GGCheers promotion. The program aims to reward players who win big hands or big pots – with an extra $100,000 on the line each day.
“GGCare broke the mold in terms of rewarding players that encounter painful bad beats and other unfortunate situations at the table,” GG ambassador Daniel Negreanu said in a news release.
“GGCheers goes even further – take down a massive hand and we’ll celebrate with you by handing over an entry for the next Daily $100,000 flipout freeroll.”
How does GGCheers work?
Online players looking to take advantage of the new program simply have to play on the site beginning Sept. 13. Those with qualifying hands are automatically awarded a ticket to the following day’s Daily $100,000 #ThanksGG Flipout freeroll tournament.
The tournament features players on opposite ends of bad luck. The lucky players will sit alongside players who snagged tickets via the GGCare feature.
GGCare takes the sting out of bad beats, coolers, and suckouts. The program awards these players with a tournament entry as well.
GGCheers now joins GGCare
The size of each qualifying players’ stack in the freeroll depends on how lucky (GGCheers) or unlucky (GGCare) the player was. The site’s custom algorithm determines this based on the player’s qualifying hand.
The exact conditions triggering eligible hands vary by game. The site continuously optimizes GGCheers and GGCare to cover as many relevant scenarios as possible.
The site launched the GGCare promotion in February. That program helps out players experience some tough luck at the tables.
Players generally received GGCare well. The original Flipout tournament awarded $30,000, but that’s now been ramped up to $100,000.
The new “Cheers”promotion now offers the inverse of the “Cares” promotion. Both are expected to run indefinitely with the size of the daily prize amounts increasing as well.
More to come from GGPoker
Beyond the promotions, GG has been in the news a lot of late. The site continues running the World Series of Poker Online this week.
The WSOP Winter Online Super Circuit is also coming to the platform later this year. The site also recently surpassed PokerStars as the largest site in the world for the number of cash game players.
