The live action continues to return to PokerStars and the company released even more dates on Wednesday as well as a few updated schedules. The announcement includes adding even more to Stars’ regional tours, which return after a hiatus.
Players will find plenty of action on the regional schedule with the Eureka, United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT, Spain), and France Poker Series (FPS) all offering numerous events this year.
The news also includes even more qualifiers for the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC), which is set for 2023 in the Bahamas. Players now have more opportunities to win a coveted Platinum Pass. That entitles winners to a complete tournament entry and travel package.
Most series feature numerous opportunities for players to qualify online. Here’s a look at some of the events on the horizon.
UKIPT returns to Nottingham
As part of the return of UKIPT, PokerStars is heading back to the home of poker in the United Kingdom, Dusk Till Dawn Poker Room. The tour hasn’t been to the property in seven years and UKIPT Nottingham runs July 23-31.
The £1,100 Main Event is set for July 28-31 with a £500,000 guarantee. The £2,200 High Roller runs from July 30-31 with a £200,000 guarantee.
Satellites begin on June 19 offering players an opportunity to win a £1,600 tournament package. These qualifiers run through July 24 on the .COM and .EU platforms. Stars has also added a Road to PSPC event in Nottingham as well (more on that below).
Eureka Tour heads to Bucharest
PokerStars returns to Romania after five years for Eureka Bucharest. The series is held in partnership with PokerFest, with events taking place from July 25-31.
The €1,100 Main Event is planned for July 27-31 with online satellites beginning on June 19 and ending on July 24. Qualifiers are planned for the .COM, .EU, and .IT sites. Players can win either a tournament entry or complete €1,500 seat and travel package.
