It’s a busy time for PartyPoker. The company continues partnering with and adding live events, including numerous opportunities to qualify online.
Last week, Party announced a partnership with The Festival Bratislava in Slovakia from Oct. 10-16. On Monday, the company also announced a partnership with the Malta Poker Festival, allowing players on the .EU platform to qualify and win complete tournament packages.
The Malta Poker Festival is set for Oct. 24-31 at the Portomaso Casino. Satellites are already underway at PartyPoker’s EU site and offering players the chance to live like a VIP at the series.
“Following a successful poker event back in April between Portomaso Casino and PartyPoker Live, we are thrilled that PartyPoker will be sponsoring the Grand Event at the Malta Poker Festival,” a Portomaso Casino spokesman said in a news release.
“PartyPoker Live needs no introduction among the players and this collaboration will add further enthusiasm to the field.”
What to expect from PartyPoker Malta Festival
Those looking for some Maltese poker action have numerous opportunities at PartyPoker. The live series will feature a €550 Grand Event, which comes with a €500,000 guarantee.
For those looking to land a seat, Party offers feeder satellites starting at just €1.25. These events are running daily and give players a shot at a €2,000 tournament package for a bargain buy-in.
The top three finishers in the feeder satellites move on to a €12.50 Phase 1 event. The top 10% in those events then make their way to the €125 Satellite Final.
The Satellite Finals run every Sunday beginning Aug. 21 through Oct. 23. The events feature two €2,000 packages guaranteed every week. A tournament package includes:
- €550 Grand Event seat
- five nights at the Hilton Malta
- an “All-In” Friday pass to Club Level 22
- access to the casino buffet during tournament play
- VIP concierge service
- €200 in expenses
Players will find five starting flights throughout the series. Day 2 then kicks off on Oct. 30 with the final table wrapping up a day later.
Other highlights from the series
Beyond the Grand Event, players will find a full schedule of side events as well. The action kicks off on Oct. 25 with a €230 Cardplayer Lifestyle HORSE event.
On. Oct. 29, players will find the Amateur Poker Association and Tour’s €120 APAT Maltese Championship. The event should bring in plenty of recreational players looking for a fun outing.
