The 20th anniversary celebration may be coming to a close at 888poker, but the site has one big event left for online poker players.
The “Tweet for Your Seat” promotion runs Dec. 29 – Feb. 1 and allows players to potentially receive their tournament buy-ins back. That could be a nice way for players to ring in the new year.

How to get an 888poker buy-in returned
Trying to see some of that buy-in money returned for a tournament is a fairly simple process. Players must first follow 888poker on Twitter.
Players who then finish in the top three of a tournament qualify for receiving their buy-in back. Those players can simply post a screenshot of their finish on Twitter while also tagging @888poker and using the hashtag #tweet4seat.
The minimum ticket buy-in for the promotion is $1 with a maximum of $33. For example, Team888 ambassador Ian Simpson could have been rewarded with his buy-in returned for this recent win.

Players already posting their wins
The “tweet4seat” offers players a nice way to ring in the new year with a virtual freeroll for those finishing in the top three. The promotion is now underway and players have already been posting their wins on Twitter.
One player already posted his runner-up finish and was looking for that buy-in sent back to his account. No doubt even more are looking for their own ways to win on the felt and post to get that buy-in returned.
