Pam Belote Sets Women’s Record With Eighth WSOPC Ring

The 2025 WSOP Circuit season kicked off with a bang in Choctaw, one of the top WSOP circuit destinations, with a historic result. There was a record breaking circuit ring victory within the first few days of the first stop of the year in Choctaw as Pam Belote won her eight career circuit ring to put her in first place for most all time rings for a female player.

It also puts her closer to possibly joining the exclusive double digit ring winners club and among the WSOP circuit ring leaders.

The Choctaw ladies event ended with Belote taking down the title in the 115 entry field which gave her ring #8 as well as the $5,920 top prize. It was a nice cap to the week for her after she had come very close to her eighth ring with two prior final tables in Choctaw prior to closing the deal in the ladies event.

Belote’s Career Rings

Belote’s eighth ring came in the Choctaw ladies event which moved her ahead of La Sengphet, who she had been tied with for most rings for a female player. The win is Belote’s fifth ladies event ring, which means that ladies events account for over half of her rings.

Belote now leads the all time women’s ring leaderboard with eight, La Sengphet is second with seven and Loni Hui is third with five.

Belote has an extensive WSOP resume and is a native of Edmund, OK. Her ring resume shows that her home state has been good to her as six of her eight rings have come in the Sooner State at WSOPC stops in either Tulsa or Choctaw.

Her first ring was won in 2019 with two that year and has won at least one each year from 2022 until now with 2023 being her most prolific year with three rings that year.

When Belote won her seventh ring in Southern Indiana in 2024, she actually brought her previous six rings with her, so she was able to take a memorable winner’s picture where she flaunted all seven of her rings.

With over $230,000 in career earnings, she finds herself within the top 70 of all time Oklahoma poker players in terms of cash, but very few from anywhere can boast more outright tournament wins than her.

Support of Women’s Poker

Belote is a very familiar face all around the WSOP circuit. She shows up at most events and wholeheartedly supports women’s poker while she is at each stop.

The WPA (Women’s Poker Association) is well represented by Belote at most circuit stops where she is often seen handing out WPA gift bags to each woman who makes the ladies event final table at each circuit stop that hosts a ladies event.

The WSOP circuit is made better by players like Belote who enjoy playing and giving their all while also giving back to others and promoting the game of poker through whatever means, which in her case is through the promotion of women’s poker. She is a fitting player to sit atop the women’s poker circuit ring leaderboard.
