Jason first started to become interested in poker in his late teens and early twenties. Whilst at University, he and some friends began to regularly host Texas Hold'em nights, which quickly became a weekly ritual. The strategy, pressure and nuances of the game got him hooked and he's been regularly playing, whether in live tournaments, online or just casually with friends, ever since. Although Jason's day job is teaching, he is a keen writer and contributor to the poker community.
