Daniel Negreanu has re-signed with GGPoker to continue what has been a successful partnership between the poker icon and the online poker giant.
The 50-year-old Canadian poker pro has been the prominent ambassador for GGPoker since 2019, when he signed a deal with the then-fledgling online poker company.
Since then, GGPoker has grown into one of the top online poker sites in the world, challenging for the top spot. That strength continues to grow as GGPoker now owns the WSOP, as the 2025 WSOP will be the first year with GGPoker as the primary owner.
Negreanu has been the pre-eminent face of GGpoker since he signed with them six years ago. While playing, he routinely wears his GGPoker hat, making it a staple of his later career image. So it was only natural that he extend his deal with them.
The contract extension was announced via his agent Brian Balsbaugh on X.
Negreanu continues to be one of the most popular players in all of poker and his results continue to be strong.
His summer WSOP vlog series is especially popular, getting tens of thousands of views daily every summer. The 2025 version is expected to be no different, as fans will get the inside scoop from the poker icon himself as he shares behind the scenes footage of the first GGPoker run WSOP. These videos and more will be very beneficial for the GGPoker brand as well as for Negreanu himself.
