Here, half the pot goes to the best “high” hand and half the pot to the best five-card, unpaired, “low” hand, if all five cards are eight or lower.

There is also a five-card PLO available more rarely where the same rules apply, just with five cards dealt to you in the hole instead of four.

Stud
