The online bracelet hunting may be over but plenty of action remains at WSOP.com. Fresh off the end of the World Series of Poker Online, the site has launched the Summer Series for players in Nevada and New Jersey.
The series kicked off on Sunday with 85 events running through Aug. 23. That includes a $3 million guarantee, a $200,000 guaranteed main event, and buy-ins ranging from $5 to $1,000. The series is also available to 888poker players in Delaware.
Action keeps rolling at WSOP.com
There just seems to be no slowing down for legal online poker operators in the US. July revenue figures aren’t available yet, but the bracelet series should mean huge numbers in Nevada and NJ.
Major tournament poker remains shut done with limited live poker returning. As USPoker reported this week, Atlantic City casinos have yet to reopen their poker rooms.
Online poker has moved to fill that void. WSOP.com now offers another opportunity for players missing the live poker grind.
While there are several big buy-in events, those with lower and mid-range bankrolls will find plenty of nice options. Those include:
- $11/$11/$22 NLHE (Event 30, Aug. 9) – This event features a $22,222 guarantee with $11 buy-in, $11 rebuys, and a $22 add-on.
- $10 NLHE Deepstack (Event 36, Aug. 11) – A shot at a $15,000 guarantee for only 10 bucks.
- $30 NLHE (Event 54, Aug. 16) – Minimal buy-in for $30,000 guaranteed.
- $55 NLHE Sunday 50 (Event 56, Aug. 16) – Look for a hefty guarantee of $50,000.
- $100 NLHE Deepstack (Event 85, Aug. 23) – Final event of the series with $30,000 guaranteed.
Plenty of action for bigger bankrolls
Those looking to play a little bigger will also be in luck with the Summer Series. Here’s a look at what to expect:
- $1,000 NLHE High Roller – Look for these big re-entry events each Sunday. Each feature with a $100,000 guaranteed. Also look for the $1,000 Tuesday High Roller on Aug. 11 with a $75,000 guarantee.
- $320 NLHE Sunday Special Edition (Event 55, Aug. 16) – Another nice six-figure guarantee, this one at $150,000.
- $525 Main Event (Event 79, Aug. 23) – The championship pays out a handsome $200,000. With guarantees getting smashed lately however, this one may grow even bigger.
- $500 PLO High Roller (Event 82, Aug. 23) – Omaha fans can rejoice in a big buy-in with a big payout – $30,000 guaranteed.

Player Appreciation Tournaments offer $5,000 Added Plus Cash Drawings
Along with the Summer Series, the WSOP.com Player Appreciation Tournaments continue throughout August. The $100 tournaments come with a $100,000 guarantee.
The tournaments run every Sunday with an extra $5,000 in added cash prizes. Participants will also be entered into a random drawing to win one of several cash prizes including:
- $500 – six winners
- $250 – four winners
- $100 – 10 winners
Players can also win a Player Appreciation Tournament seat for free each Saturday in the Five-Seat Freeroll. There are plenty of ways to win with this promotion and lots of cash on the line throughout the month.
