Online poker seems to be a busy world of late and that includes partypoker. The site has unveiled several events and promotions with many big winners also recently crowned.
Things are heating up at the platform’s official Twitch channel with the return of partypoker League. The Partypoker Championship Malta also continues with action online and in a live setting.
In other events, the Irish Poker Open is right around the corner with a complete online schedule and qualifiers before heading to the Emerald Isle. Here’s a look at some of the news from partypoker.
Partypoker turning things up on Twitch
Players can look forward to the return of partypoker League beginning April 2 and running every Saturday for the remainder of the year. The promotion offers plenty of bang for the buck considering events are free to players.
“The partypokerTV channel turns into an exciting, action-packed party with the best Twitch poker showman hosting a free tournament weekly with amazing monthly prizes,” the company notes.
Partypoker promises special guest players, live DJs, and plenty of online poker action. The promotion includes a weekly Freeroll Main Event with a $250 guaranteed prize pool. All players are also allowed a $1 re-buy.
The events run alongside the site’s “Game Nights” and “Live Sessions” on Twitch, hosted by MaximusBlack (aka Canadian ambassador and streamer Jeffrey Johnston). These include live music mixed with online poker.
Plenty of reasons to jump in the league
Beyond the tournament fun, partypoker also has some nice monthly prizes on the line. Players can jump in the tournament each week for a shot to climb the leaderboard, allowing players to compete for monthly prizes.
A gaming PC ships to the overall winner of the monthly leaderboard with other prizes also for top finishers.
Additionally, a Champions Tournament is set for December with a $10,000 guarantee. The sit & go event features all 12 monthly leaderboard winners vying for a share of the cash. Here’s a look at the overall monthly prizes.
- 1st – Gaming PC ($1,500) plus a champions tournament seat
- 2nd – gaming chair ($600)
- 3rd – streamer kit ($500)
- 4th to 6th – $215 tournament ticket
