Partypoker US Network Sees Overlays in PA, MI Sunday Majors; Online Series in the Works

Partypoker US Network entered the Pennsylvania market on April 29. For the first time, the state had multiple online poker options.

Players can now make use of the BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker skins. The sites combine player pools and Sunday brought the second week of major tournaments.

USPoker took a look at some of the results to gauge how things are going so far. Partypoker is also now in Michigan via the Borgata Poker skin, and USPoker also took a look at those Sunday majors.

Results at partypoker PA

Partypoker offers just a fraction of the PokerStars player pool in Pennsylvania, but that site had quite a head start. As of Monday, party/BetMGM was seeing an average of 26 cash game players with 24-hour peaks of 55.

Tournament players have found some overlays as well. The $215 Sunday $40K fell $13,800 short of the $40,000 guarantee. “DrFuzzyBottom” took the win for $9,199.

The $109 Daily $10K attracted 84 entries for an $8,400 prize pool, $1,600 below the guarantee. “Until_Wilted” took the top spot for $2,950.

After two days of testing, partypoker US Network has officially unveiled its BetMGM and Borgata Poker skins in PA.

Partypoker sees several overlays in Michigan on Sunday

The Michigan market continues to see some growth at partypoker. The first week saw a seven-day average of 55 cash game players and a 24-hour peak of 121 players.

That’s grown to an average of 75 players and peaks in the 140 range. Several of the Sunday majors this week brought overlays as the platform still works to add players.

The $215 Sunday $40K fell $1,600 short of the $40,000 guarantee. The event attracted 192 entries with “ParryGreenstein” taking the top spot for $8,000.

The $55 Sunday Starter features a $3,000 guarantee and fell $650 short of that. The tournament brought in 47 entries with “Pollan” winning for $1,200.

Sunday’s $109 Daily $10K brought in 81entries to fall $1,900 short of the guarantee. “Farmhand” took the win for $2,950.

Partypoker has some ground to make up in Pennsylvania and Michigan, but It’s still early in both states. Some upcoming tournament series may help bring more rounders tot he player ranks.

The platform’s popular Online Series begins on BetMGM in Michigan on May 16. That series features 10 events and more than $300,000 guaranteed. That includes a $1,060 main event with $100,000 guaranteed.

A similar Online Series begins in New Jersey on May 16 with 10 events and an overall guarantee of $325,000. NJ players will also find a $1,060 main event with.

In Pennsylvania, the Online Series kicks off on May 23 with a $109 tournament featuring $100,000 guaranteed Check back to USPoker on Tuesday for a complete preview these series.
