The race for big winnings returns to 888poker with the ChampionChip Games running from Aug. 28 – Sept. 6 with $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
The series features smaller buy-in levels, with most under $30 but still featuring nice guarantees. Online poker players will once again features an Olympic-style competition theme with names representing numerous sports.
The multi-flight $60 Main Event highlights the festival with $200,000 guaranteed. Starting flights run Sept. 1-5 with Day 2 set for Sept. 5 with the final table playing out on Sept. 6. Here’s a look at the entire festival.
Affordable fun heads to 888poker
Those jumping in the ChampionChip Games will find plenty of micro to low stakes action. That includes several tournament styles such as progressive knockouts (PKO), deepstack, six-max, eight-max, and more.
Beyond the main championship, the $5.50 Micro Main Event is set for Sept. 4 with $15,000 guaranteed. The $11 Triple Threat 11 PKO kicks off the series with $15,000 guaranteed.
Another big event is the $33 Opening Ceremony on the same day with a $30,000 guarantee. Some other highlights include:
