As the Formula One season moves into its second half, PokerStars is hitting the gas on even more promotional power with the company’s Oracle Red Bull Racing partnership.
Stars announced the latest way for fans to grab a Red Spade Pass for the Brazil Grand Prix on Wednesday.
The promotion rewards winners with the ultimate fan experience at Brazil’s iconic Interlagos Grand Prix circuit. The opportunity is available exclusively for PokerStars players.
“Our aim is to give our community epic moments that they will never forget,” Stars director of partnerships, public relations, and consumer engagement Rebecca McAdam Willets said in a news release.
“Together, PokerStars and Oracle Red Bull Racing want to bring entertainment to all of our fans and players, and this season we’ve seen some fantastic moments both on and off the track. As our partnership continues to grow, we’re looking forward to bringing even more unique experiences to the PokerStars communities.”
What’s included in a PokerStars Red Spade Pass?
Those lucky enough to score a Red Spade Pass are in for a major racing experience. The trip includes three days at the Brazil Grand Prix as well as:
- flights
- five night’s accommodation in Sao Paulo
- exclusive activities and guest appearances
- a personalized message from an Oracle Red Bull Racing driver
- PokerStars and Oracle Red Bull Racing merchandise
The winners also receive some nice prizes on the poker and gaming side of the deal as well. That includes a session with a PokerStars Learn coach. They’ll also land some offers and tickets from Stars, PokerStars Casino, and PokerStars Sports. Those prizes include:
- $109 Sunday Million buy-in
- $250/€250 in sports bets
- $250 in casino spins
How to win an Formula One experience
The first Red Spade Pass is awarded at PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona in the €3,000 Platinum Pass Mystery Bounty. The tour is adding the pass to the prize pool, hidden in one of the bounty envelopes awarded to players.
Bounties begin on Day 2, with the event running through Aug. 19. The poker site and online casino will award additional passes, with new ways to win announced soon.
EPT Barcelona is now underway and runs through Aug. 21. Along with the Red Spade Pass, three coveted $30,000 Platinum Passes will also be rewarded.
To celebrate the season getting underway, the first Red Spades awarded winners with a four-day all-expenses paid trip for two to Nice, France, and Monaco for the Monaco Grand Prix. Winners followed the action from PokerStars’ private luxury waterside location, overlooking the famous track.
The site also launched a season-long program of race weekend rewards encouraging fans and players to “Embrace the Race.” From big-money casino drops to Formula One-themed freerolls, the prizes reward fans for their support of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team.
The Embrace the Race prizes also get a major boost if Oracle Red Bull takes the top spot on the podium. PokerStars announced the multi-year F1 partnership earlier this year. The deal calls for Stars branding on the RB18 car and race suits.
PokerStars hopes to attract more online poker players from F1’s growing audience. The company launched several initiatives to provide players and fans with new and unique ways to enjoy the sport.
