Ultimate Satellite: Partypoker Sending Players to Vegas for Some Major Tournament Action

Partypoker US Network is gearing up to send players to Las Vegas this year with some extra padding in their bankrolls. Players in New Jersey and Michigan will have the chance to win a package worth $25,000 this month.

The Ultimate Super Satellite event runs June 20 with a $1,060 buy-in and offers quite a payoff. Winners score a $25,000 tournament package this summer in Sin City.

The event offers plenty of extra incentive for players and New Jersey and Michigan to get in the action.

Heading to play in Vegas with partypoker

This continues a satellite tradition for US online poker operators. Party has offered major satellites for live tournament events for years.

While WSOP.com regularly offers qualifiers to the World Series of Poker each summer, that series has moved to the fall this year. With numerous live series still running this summer, party is still offering players the chance at a poker getaway.

Players can also choose to hang on to that buy-in cash for this fall’s WSOP Main Event as well. One in 25 Ultimate Super Satellite players will win a tournament package. That may be used for entry into the following Las Vegas land-based tournaments:

  • $10,000 Wynn Millions – $10 million guarantee, June 25 – July 2
  • $5,000 WPT Venetian – $3 million guarantee, July 2-7
  • $10,000 WSOP Main Event – Nov. 4-17

Satellites start as low as $5

If $1,060 is a little too high for the poker bankroll, daily qualifiers are already underway and run through June 19. Satellites range in buy-in from $5 to $250, offering a shot at some big Vegas poker for a small buy-in.

“I am glad that partypoker is offering some small buy-in satellites,” says Pete Hildenbrand, a poker player from Medford, New Jersey. “I know it is a little bit of a long shot, but I like being able to take a chance to get into the $1,060 event for only $5.”

The Ultimate Satellite is available to partypoker players in New Jersey and Michigan as well as the Borgata Poker and BetMGM skins.

Another chance for players to win big

Partypoker continues to allow players to get into major tournament events. Many players dream of one day playing in a big event that normally might be out of reach.

Since partypoker landed in New Jersey, the site has always given online players a chance to jump in the action.

In 2014, New Jersey resident and business owner Dan Jiacopello was one of the first partypoker satellite winners. This player from the town of Egg Harbor scored a $10,000 seat in the WPT Bellagio Diamond Classic

“I won my seat online through a sattie,” Jiacapello says. “Unfortunately, I didn’t cash in the live event, but it was an exciting experience to be able to play in a huge event in Las Vegas”

Jiacapello was even featured by the WPT in a video promoting the event.
