While many casinos begin opening to some degree, live poker rooms look to be slower in opening. Online poker operators have been there to meet demand and the industry is seeing record numbers.
Will that carry over to May and June revenue numbers? Poker operators continue to schedule more events to meet demand and that includes a few nice series and events this week.
Look for major events from WSOP.com and PartyPoker. Global Poker also continues offering major tournaments daily.

Where can you play online poker?
American online players have a few options to get in the action. The markets are still small in comparison to large international poker markets. However, here are four states currently offering legal online poker for real money.
New Jersey
- PokerStars NJ – The largest online poker operator in world offers plenty of cash game and tournament action in New Jersey. New players depositing $20 receive $30 in free cash and $10 worth of Spin & Go tickets.
- partypoker/BorgataPoker – partypoker is one of the best-known online brands around the world. New partypoker players get a free $25 via $10 in poker money, $10 in casino chips, and $5 in poker tournament tickets. Those using the BorgataPoker skin can earn $10 in cash with a $10 bonus.
- WSOP.com/888poker – Players on the World Series of Poker-affiliated site have the option of a shared liquidity pool with Nevada and Delaware. Players can qualify for WSOP events in Las Vegas and circuit tournaments. The site is run on software by 888poker, which also operates in the state. WSOP offers new players a free $10. 888poker offers $20 in free play and up to a $1,500 deposit bonus.
Nevada
- WSOP.com – WSOP.com offers players plenty of cash game and tournament action with a shared liquidity market with WSOP online poker and 888poker in New Jersey and Delaware.
Pennsylvania
- PokerStars PA – New players at PokerStars PA can claim a $30 free play bonus and up to $600 match bonus. PokerStars also partners with FOX Bet in the state for sports betting. Players utilizing the FOX Bet’s new player offer will earn a free $20 for signing up that can be used for poker or sports betting.
Delaware
- Doverdowns.com, Delawarepark.com, Harringtonraceway.com – These offer online poker in Delaware, however, it’s run through 888poker. The platform has a shared liquidity market with New Jersey and Nevada.
Other states
Those in other states have more limited options when it comes to online poker. Sweepstakes poker sites offer players a chance to play for cash and prizes.
Global Poker may be an option for players in other states (and much of Canada as well). The company’s model is based on social gaming. Players can purchase Gold Coins for ring games and tournaments.
As a bonus, players receive Sweeps Coins – which can be used in tournaments and ring games. Unlike Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for cash prizes. New players can earn a free $20 Sweeps Coin package with a verified account.

Circuit Season Finale kicks off this week
Poker players seeking more action will be in luck with WSOP.com this week. The Online Circuit Season Finale series begins this week and runs June 3-14.
The series is highlighted by 12 ring events. The Season Finale will also award 13 spots into the Global Casino Championship to winners and the online “Casino Champion.”
That event was recently moved online and will be held Sept. 13. The Global Casino Championship features a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and awards a WSOP bracelet.
Players in the Season Finale will find a schedule full of No Limit Hold’em events with six-figure guarantees. Buy-ins range from $215 to $1,000 and the $525 Main Event is set for June 14 with a $300,000 guarantee. Here’s a look at the complete schedule:

More promotions and events planned for players
Beyond the new tournament series, there are more interesting events beginning this week at WSOP.com.
The site will be running another “Keep It 100” tournament series. This $215 daily tournament features a $100,000 guaranteed daily and begins June 3.
The event continues each day as long as that $100,000 guarantee is met. WSOP.com also throws in a progressive $10,000 freeroll entry for all participants. Every day the tournament guarantee is met, an additional $5,000 will be added to the prize pool, up to a $100,000.
Players also have another opportunity for some free cash in June. A $100 Player Appreciation 
Tournament will be held June 28 with a $100,000 guarantee. WSOP.com will also be adding $5,000 in extra cash prizes
Those simply playing in the tournament will be entered into a random drawing to win one of the following:

Global Poker
Rattlesnake produces massive fields, TOC set for Sunday
After the record-breaking Home Series, Global Poker’s three-week Rattlesnake Open III also produced massive numbers. The series concluded on May 24 with more than 65,000 players hitting the Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin tables.
That included 166 players winning Rattlesnake trophies and Champions Packs. Players won more than GC312 million over 21 days with Sweeps Coin winnings reaching SC1.9 million. The series was the largest Gold Coin tournament ever.
“Itsdaper” became one of the big winners after taking down two Rattlesnake events. The Iowa player won Event 5-L: NLHE SC4,000 and Event 07-M: NLHE SC12,500.
“Global Poker really is the go-to place for any player in the US,” he said after the wins. “The trophies up top give everyone something extra to fight for. I love how we as players get a chance to play several different formats as well. That really spices up the daily grind.
