MGM\u2019s expanding sports betting footprint<\/span><\/h2>\nMGM has significantly changed the sports betting landscape since the US Supreme Court\u2019s\u00a0repeal of PASPA<\/strong>, the\u00a0federal ban on sports wagering.<\/p>\nSince then, MGM has secured lucrative contracts <\/strong>with three out of the four professional sports leagues.<\/p>\nIn July, the National Basketball Association (NBA)<\/strong> and MGM stuck the first-of-its-kind deal making the company the leagues \u201cofficial gaming partner.\u201d<\/strong> The deal is reportedly for three years and $25 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\nMGM also has deals in place with the National Hockey League (NHL)<\/strong> and Major League Baseball (MLB)<\/strong>. Additionally, the company has an individual partnership in place with the\u00a0New York Jets<\/strong>\u00a0National Football League (NFL) team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u201cThis is an exciting time for MGM Resorts as we continue to expand our gaming operations around the world,\u201d Hornbuckle said.<\/p>\n
