Patrons of Lady Luck Casino<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will be greeted in a different way during their next visit.<\/p>\n No access fees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n What a warm welcome from the sometimes elusive but always welcome lady luck.<\/p>\n The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board<\/strong>\u00a0(PGCB) accepted the $1 million payment<\/strong>\u00a0on June 17 to lift the $10<\/strong> per visit access fee.<\/p>\n The top of Lady Luck Casino\u2019s homepage touted:\u00a0\u201cAccess Granted No More Entry Fee\u201d with two smiling people holding the doors open. It also states that \u201ceffective June 17, 2019, the \u2018Patron To The Amenity\u2019 restriction ($10 access fee) nor the Nemacolin Experience membership are required for casino entrance.\u201d<\/p>\n State Sen. Pat Stefano<\/strong>, R-Bullskin Township, vice chairman of the Senate Community and Economic Development Committee<\/strong>, oversees the gaming board. He told the Herald-Standard<\/a><\/strong><\/em> he fought to remove<\/strong> the access fee from Category 3 Casinos like Lady Luck.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is an exciting step forward for Lady Luck Casino,\u201d said Stefano. \u201cI have seen firsthand people come to the casino intending to play right here in our community only to turn around and walk out the door upon learning of the access fee.\u201d<\/p>\n Vice President\/general manager of the casino Gary Hendricks echoed similar sentiments.<\/p>\n \u201cI am excited that the barrier has been removed to allow guests to enter the casino at no charge.
