That $124,000 was forked over to New Jersey\u2019s Borgata<\/b> casino for the $10 million<\/b> judgement the property has against him.<\/p>\n
Ivey has 10 WSOP bracelets and more than $28 million in live tournament winnings. But in recent years he may have become more known for his issues of jurisprudence than poker. He\u2019s been fighting the Borgata case since 2012.<\/p>\n
That changed a bit over the last year and Ivey recently scored two runner-up finishes at the WSOP Europe<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Like the famous skyjacker DB Cooper<\/strong>, Ivey may have gotten away with his edge sorting. He\u2019s now just trying to hang on to the cash.<\/p>\n

With 10 WSOP bracelets, this cowboy took what he said was his last ride through the series in 2018. It was a nice ride into the tournament sunset \u2013 finish sixth in the only event he played, the $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Lowball Championship<\/b>.<\/p>\n

No doubt many poker fans have read a few of the frequent gripes from the \u201cChainsaw<\/b>.\u201d From tournaments structures to bad beats, Kessler regularly dishes out his criticisms and complaints about all things poker.<\/p>\n
Some players and tournament directors see Kessler as a pain in the neck. But his criticisms do have merit at times and he does look out for poker players. He even occasionally <\/i>compliments a property on a well-run tournament.<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s Kessler\u2019s shade-throwing that attracts attention and the Oscar the Grouch outfit might be fitting. Apparently his reputation has even reached other continents.<\/p>\n
