Those names came out to show support for their hometown <a href=\"http:\/\/www.playpennsylvania.com\/\">PA casino<\/a> and stake claim to their share of the prize money.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a poker fan, then the <strong>Parx Poker Room<\/strong> is where you wanted to be this past month. Just a few of the players wandering around the poker room included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scott Blumstein<\/strong>, <strong>World Series of Poker<\/strong> Main Event Champion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matt Glantz<\/strong>, WSOP Circuit Champion, and Producer for <strong>Poker Night in America<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Greg Weber<\/strong>, WPT <strong>Borgata<\/strong> Main Event Runner-up<\/li>\n<li><strong>Christian Harder<\/strong>,<strong> PokerStars<\/strong> Championship Bahamas Champion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Joseph Palma<\/strong>, Big Stax 300 Champion from Series XXII and XXIII<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"arkadiy_tsinis_wins_parx_big_stax_xxiv_2500_main_event\">Arkadiy Tsinis wins Parx Big Stax XXIV 2500 Main Event<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Day three of the three-day Parx Big Stax XXIV 2500 Main Event began with the unofficial final table already set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arkadiy Tsinis<\/strong> started the day off strong and remained in control until the very end. He eliminated<strong> five of the final eight<\/strong> players to give him a nearly 9:1 chip lead going into heads up. <strong>Ryan Tamanini<\/strong> couldn\u2019t get anything going, and the chip deficit was too significant to overcome.<\/p>\n<p>Tsinis has <strong>over $1.7 million<\/strong> in live tournament winnings, <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/player.php?a=r&amp;n=33870\">according to <strong>Hendon Mob<\/strong><\/a>. The WSOP bracelet winner has been on a heater of late and just last November he earned three rings within two days at the <strong>WSOP Circuit Planet Hollywood<\/strong> in Las Vegas, <strong>Nevada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>His recent results are not too bad for someone whose <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArkadiyTsinis\">Twitter<\/a> <\/strong>profile describes him as a \u201cretired poker and backgammon player making my foray into fashion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Parx Big Stax XXIV $2500 final table results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st: Arkadiy Tsinis ($77,053)<\/li>\n<li>2nd: Ryan Tamanini ($49,210)<\/li>\n<li>3rd: <strong>Abe Faroni<\/strong> ($31,714)<\/li>\n<li>4th: <strong>Nick Lee<\/strong> ($23,121)<\/li>\n<li>5th: <strong>Brett Apter<\/strong> ($17,341)<\/li>\n<li>6th: <strong>Ron Sims<\/strong> ($10,167)<\/li>\n<li>7th: <strong>Aaron Mermelstein<\/strong> ($13,109)<\/li>\n<li>8th: <strong>Ryan McKnight<\/strong> ($7,664)<\/li>\n<li>9th: <strong>Keith Morrow<\/strong> ($6,580)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"greg_weber_and_anthony_garofalo_co-champions_of_parx_big_stax_xxiv_1500\">Greg Weber and Anthony Garofalo Co-Champions of Parx Big Stax XXIV 1500<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s not often to see co-champions in a poker tournament. The goal of every tournament is to be the last man or woman standing. Even when deals are made, there is usually the title, trophy and some prize money left in the middle for players to battle for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greg Weber<\/strong> and <strong>Anthony Garofalo<\/strong> were heads-up in the $1,600 buy-in Parx Big Stax XXIV 1500. Being close to even in chips, the two players agreed to a deal that included the co-champion designation.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, Weber, whose success in this series over the last few years has been more than impressive, negotiated a bigger paycheck ($104,233) and will be recorded as the first-place finisher in the official record book. But the Double Black Chip Bounty played out with <strong>Brandon Vescio-Bermender<\/strong> earning <strong>$6,746<\/strong> for the win plus a few bounties along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on to the Big Stax XXIV 300 event, after nearly seven and a half hours of three-handed play, the players agreed to an ICM chop. Justin Liberto found himself with a slight chip-lead at the time of the chop, which earned him the title.<\/p>\n<p>Here is how things stood at the time of the deal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st: Justin Liberto with 26,500,000 chips earned $79,169<\/li>\n<li>2nd: <strong>Vinny Pahuja<\/strong> with 25,500,000 earned $79,169<\/li>\n<li>3rd: <strong>Kevin Grabel<\/strong> with 16,100,000 earned $69,598.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"big_stax_xxv_coming_in_may\">Big Stax XXV coming in May<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Big Stax series is a massive draw for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paonlinecasino.com\/parx\/\"><strong>Parx Casino<\/strong><\/a> poker room, and they are already making plans for Big Stax XXV in May.
