Another big series for PokerStars in US<\/span><\/h2>\n

Online grinders have plenty to look forward to in PA. The Summer Series offers buy-ins for every level, ranging from <\/span>$20 to $500<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

No Limit Hold’em<\/b> players will be pleased with the schedule. Almost all events are in that form of poker, but with a few <\/span>Omaha<\/b> tournaments also thrown in the mix.<\/span><\/p>\n

The highlight of the series is the <\/span>$200 Main Event<\/b> on <\/span>June 28<\/b> with a <\/span>$200,000<\/b> guarantee. There is also a <\/span>$50 Mini Main Event<\/b> the same day for a guarantee of <\/span>$25,000<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The June 21 <\/span>Sunday Special<\/b> also offers another big opportunity. The <\/span>$100<\/b> buy-in comes with a <\/span>$100,000 <\/b>guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>$200 Super Tuesday<\/b> on June 23 features a <\/span>$35,000<\/b> guarantee. Those with high bankrolls should check out the <\/span>$500 High Roller Six-Max<\/b> on June 24 for a guarantee of <\/span>$35,000<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Low rollers will find plenty of action in this series as well. Even some events in the <\/span>$20-50<\/b> range come with <\/span>five-figure<\/b> guarantees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The site is fresh off the <\/span>Pennsy-Mania<\/b> one-off tournament that became the biggest online tournament in the state to date.<\/span><\/p>\n The $200 event featured a <\/span>$250,000 guarantee <\/b>and attracted a field of <\/span>2,774 entries<\/b>. The prize pool swelled to <\/span>$515,964<\/b> – typifying the massive turnout for major online events the last few months.<\/span><\/p>\n In March, the company set a PA online poker record with $3.1 million<\/strong> in revenue. April’s total of $5.3 million<\/strong> then smashed that. May revenues are expected to be released soon.<\/span><\/p>\n The company remains the only operator in the state. However, <\/span>WSOP.com<\/b> officials confirmed to <\/span>USPoker<\/span><\/i> in May that it’s<\/span> currently in the <\/span>regulatory and licensing<\/b> process. <\/span>Partypoker<\/b> is also believed to be interested in offering poker in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n<\/p>\n A growing field of online poker events<\/span><\/h2>\n Other major operators have also been getting in the act. WSOP.com just concluded its <\/span>Online Circuit Season Finale<\/b> with <\/span>12 championship rings<\/b> awarded.<\/span><\/p>\n The WSOP has also announced <\/span>85 online bracelets<\/b> will be awarded this summer. The <\/span>WSOP Online<\/b> series kicks off <\/span>July 1<\/b> and will serve NJ and Nevada players. <\/span>GGPoker<\/b> will then offer events to an international audience beginning on <\/span>July 19<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The WPT and partypoker also recently announced the <\/span>WPT Online Poker Open<\/b> for<\/span> players in <\/span>New Jersey<\/b>. The series runs <\/span>June 21-28<\/b> with <\/span>12 events<\/b> and a <\/span>$370,000<\/b> overall guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>$400<\/b> championship on <\/span>June 28<\/b> features a <\/span>$300,000<\/b> guaranteed. The champion earns a nice WPT trophy as well as an <\/span>$11,000<\/b> travel package to play in the <\/span>WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic<\/b> at the Bellagio in <\/span>Las Vegas<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Sweepstakes poker site <\/span>Global Poker<\/b> recently announced its own Summer Series as well. The festival features <\/span>45 Sweeps Coin<\/b> events for a guarantee of more than <\/span>SC2.1 million<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n It’s a good time to be an online poker player in the US. As states begin to open up, it will be interesting to see how the numbers shake out.
