A second online poker operator \u2013 partypoker PA<\/strong> \u2013 is likely for Pennsylvania as early as August, breaking the monopoly PokerStars<\/strong> has enjoyed in the market since November of 2019.<\/p>\n Party Poker is a player favorite internationally and the second-biggest online poker operator. The partypoker platform<\/strong>, now owned by GVC Holdings<\/strong>, is already in use in New Jersey<\/strong>. For three years running (2017-2019), partypoker has won the title of Poker Operator of the Year<\/strong> at the EGR Operator Awards.<\/p>\n MGM and GVC\u2019s joint online gambling company,\u00a0ROAR Digital<\/strong>, operates as BetMGM<\/strong> in the US. That company also includes the partypoker site in New Jersey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n ROAR, also the operator of partypoker PA, may have its license approved as soon as Aug. 5<\/strong>, the next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board<\/strong> (PGCB).<\/p>\n That\u2019s according to Cyrus Pitre<\/strong>, Chief Enforcement Counsel for the PGCB<\/strong>, during Wednesday\u2019s monthly Board meeting.<\/p>\n If it doesn\u2019t come on that date, it shouldn\u2019t be long after.<\/p>\nApproval could come Aug. 5 for partypoker<\/span><\/h2>\n
