February was a good month for live poker in Nevada<\/strong>. The Nevada Gaming Control Board\u2019s<\/strong> latest revenue report shows a 1.44 percent year-over-year increase in poker revenue for the month, despite the number of poker rooms and poker tables continuing to decline.<\/p>\n

Poker revenue for the month was $8,960,000<\/strong>, with the NGCB counting 64 poker rooms<\/strong> and 587 poker tables<\/strong> in February. In February 2017, the state\u2019s 67 poker rooms<\/strong> boasted 600<\/strong> tables and tallied $8,833,000<\/strong> in revenue.<\/p>\n

This trend is pretty impressive, Revenue increased even though the number of rooms decreased by nearly five percent, and tables by two percent.<\/p>\n

Because of this, on a per table basis, February 2018 saw revenue rise by more than $500 compared to February 2017:<\/p>\n
