The World Series of Poker Circuit<\/strong> events have transitioned online this year at WSOP.com<\/strong>.The site is running a monthly Online Circuit Series<\/strong> in 2021 and the next virtual stop is Planet Hollywood<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The series runs Feb. 17-28<\/strong> with 12 gold rings<\/strong> up for grabs and more than $1 million<\/strong> guaranteed. If that weren\u2019t enough the site is also hosting the Winter Online Championships in February with $1.5 million<\/strong> guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n Both series are available to players in the New Jersey<\/strong> and Nevada<\/strong> markets.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n WSOP.com saw success with numerous online series during the pandemic in 2020. The company The first Online Circuit Series ran in January. The Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Series includes a $525 Main Event<\/strong> on Feb. 28<\/strong> with a $250,000<\/strong> guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n Other notable Online Circuit Series events include:<\/span><\/p>\n Here is the complete schedule of events:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Each month, WSOP.com is also running a $10,000 monthly leaderboard<\/strong> for each online series event. The top 10 circuit grinders each month win WSOP.com tournament tickets<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The winner also wins a seat into the year-end WSOP Online Circuit Championship<\/strong> with a $250,000<\/strong> guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n That tournament is set for Dec. 28<\/strong> and rewards the champion with a WSOP gold bracelet.\u00a0<\/span>There are four ways to qualify for the championship:<\/span><\/p>\n As of January, New Jersey regular Daniel Buzgon<\/strong> is the current king of the mountain with 88.84 points<\/strong>. \u201cGLDUDE\u201d sits in second with 70.46.<\/span><\/p>\n Planet Hollywood players also have a chance at a $25,000 freeroll <\/strong>scheduled for March. 2. <\/span>Players can qualify for the freeroll\u00a0 by:<\/span><\/p>\n On the same day, WSOP.com hosts a winner-take-all Second Chance Freeroll<\/strong>. <\/span>The winner earns a seat in the Online Circuit Championship.<\/span><\/p>\n To be eligible for the freeroll, players must have played in at least three ring events in February.<\/span><\/p>\n The January Online Super Circuit<\/strong> consisted of 18 events<\/strong>. \u201cSuper\u201d Circuits generally include six extra ring events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A few regular online grinders took home some hardware in January including New Jersey\u2019s Katie Stone<\/strong> and Dan Lupo<\/strong>. The UK\u2019s Toby Lewis also won a title.<\/span><\/p>\n The biggest story was England\u2019s Chris Moorman<\/strong> going heads-up against his wife Katie Lindsay<\/strong> for a ring. Moorman took the win, but they netted over $34,000<\/strong> as a household.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If that weren\u2019t enough, players will find even more action in February with the <\/span>Winter Online Championships<\/strong>. The series runs Feb. 14-28<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with $1.5 million<\/strong> guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n Players who may not have the bankroll for the Planet Hollywood series may find more options The $320 Main Event<\/strong> is set for Feb. 28 and comes with a $200,000 guarantee<\/strong>.
