The WPTDeepStacks London Online<\/strong> series kicked off on 888poker<\/strong><\/a> on Sunday with some nice early payouts. The site also launched a new Twitch<\/strong> channel as part of the festivities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The weeklong series runs through April 26<\/strong> with more than $2 million<\/strong> guaranteed across 16 events<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

888poker completes first WPTDeepStacks events<\/span><\/h2>\n

The first two tournaments produced a combined 1,730 entries<\/strong> and awarded $268,650<\/strong> in prize money. The $525 Opener<\/strong> brought in 292 players and 65 rebuys for a total of 357 entries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Latvian player\u00a0 \u201ci2out<\/strong>\u201d took the top spot for $40,540<\/strong> with the United Kingdom\u2019s<\/a> \u201cTedson89\u201d taking $29,300<\/strong> for runner-up.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the first event produced an overlay, the second event produced better results. The $55 Mini Opener<\/strong> came with a $50,000<\/strong> guarantee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament attracted 1,019 players<\/strong> with 354 rebuys for a $68,650<\/strong> prize pool. Swedish<\/a> player \u201cSvampnacke<\/strong>\u201d took the title for $10,030 with Romania\u2019s \u201cBlahaj\u201d finishing second for $7,332.<\/span><\/p>\n
