Online poker<\/a> players can now qualify at GGPoker<\/a> for the upcoming United Kingdom Poker Championships<\/strong> (UKPC). The site is partnering with Dusk Till Dawn poker room in Nottingham for the January series.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u00a3560 Main Event<\/strong> features a \u00a3500,000 guarantee plus \u00a350,000 in added prizes for players who qualify online. The event also runs online at GGPoker beginning Jan. 7 and live at Dusk Till Dawn<\/strong> on Jan. 11.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other GG news, the site is partnering with the World Series of Poker<\/strong> for added bracelet events in Ontario, Canada<\/a>. Here\u2019s a look at these major upcoming series.<\/span><\/p>\n

UKPC qualifiers coming to GGPoker<\/span><\/h2>\n

The UKPC promises plenty of action for those heading to Nottingham<\/strong>. GG players can get in the action at a reduced prize point via online qualifiers<\/strong>. These start at just a single dollar.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGGPoker is thrilled to partner with Dusk Till Dawn and ensure our players now have an opportunity of winning their way into the UKPC Main Event, one of the highlights of the UK\u2019s poker year,\u201d GGPoker UK and Ireland head of marketing Angela Martin<\/strong> said in a news release.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Currently running GGPoker satellites to the UKPC main event include:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Daily Dollar Qualifiers<\/strong> \u2013 These award one seat daily for just $1 beginning Oct. 17. A total of 60 tickets will be awarded via Daily Dollar Qualifiers.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Weekly $80 Super Satellites<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0These run every Wednesday beginning Oct. 26. One seat is awarded for every \u00a3560 ($640) in the prize pool with eight seats guaranteed in each weekly event.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    GG will unveil other qualifying options in the coming weeks. All GGPoker Main Event qualifiers also earn entry into an exclusive UKPC Aftermath \u00a325,000 Freeroll<\/strong>, offering players another nice live poker opportunity at the series.<\/span><\/p>\n

    All qualifiers can play their preferred online Day 1 starting flight at GGPoker, either Jan. 7 or 12. The top 20%<\/strong> move on to play the live Day 2 at Dusk till Dawn. Players can also buy in directly into the Main Event starting flights hosted at GG.<\/span><\/p>\n
