Pennsylvania\u2019s<\/strong> gaming industry is marching ambitiously into a new era<\/strong>.\u00a0About six months after the state approved a sweeping expansion package<\/strong>, the first regulated platforms<\/strong> are beginning to come to market.<\/p>\n

The PA Lottery<\/strong> launched Keno<\/strong> this week, making the electronic game available in hundreds of bars and retail outlets. It\u2019s also prepared to add\u00a0virtual sports betting<\/strong> and an online lottery<\/strong> app in the coming months. Online <\/strong>casino<\/strong> games will follow shortly thereafter, and sports betting<\/strong> might even be available soon.<\/p>\n

Daily fantasy sports<\/strong> is newly regulated in Pennsylvania, as well. Sites like DraftKings<\/strong> and FanDuel<\/strong> have been serving the state for years, but operations are now under the oversight of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board <\/strong>(PGCB).<\/p>\n
