It was a soft launch, allowing PA Lottery to work out any bugs or glitches that may arise.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, users over the past few days have been <strong>out in full force<\/strong> to point out those hiccups.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"problems_faced_with_pa_lottery_app\">Problems faced with PA Lottery app<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bluntly, user reviews of the <strong>Pennsylvania Lottery app<\/strong> have been poor. Prior to the soft launch of the new instant win games, the Loterry\u00a0app reviews were generally positive. Its features, like a ticket checker that can scan to see if you bought a winning ticket, were useful tools for regular Lottery players. However, now that the app is configured for mobile play, problems seem to be arising.<\/p>\n<p>They have complained about the <strong>app crashing<\/strong>, about constantly having to <strong>verify their<\/strong> ages and being forced to constantly <strong>log back into<\/strong> their accounts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3382 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pokerscout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2382-473x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"1024\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3383 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pokerscout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2383-473x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, not all users have faced these issues. Yet many are clearly unhappy with the app recently.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"whats_causing_these_problems\">What\u2019s causing these problems?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It could be a number of things. In order to participate in the app\u2019s games, users must be <strong>Pennsylvania residents<\/strong>. <strong>Geolocation software<\/strong> to verify such may have caused the app to glitch. It could be the <strong>age verification<\/strong> that requires users to check a box confirming they are at least <strong>18 years old<\/strong> followed by them inputting the last four digits of their social security number.<\/p>\n<p>The go-to cause, however, may be an<strong> out-of-date app<\/strong>.\u00a0 It is recommended that<strong> iOS<\/strong> users experiencing troubles visit the<strong> Apple Store<\/strong> and update the app. <strong>Android<\/strong> users, meanwhile, should go to the PA Lottery website and <strong>re-download the app<\/strong>. It is no longer available in the Google Play Store because Google<strong> does not<\/strong> allow apps with iLottery online gaming.<\/p>\n<p>As the iLottery grows, the mobile app will become a more crucial part of PA Lottery\u2019s\u00a0strategy. So, if there are kinks now, presumably the tech team for the Lottery will be quick to fix things. Moreover, there is probably a <strong>learning curve<\/strong> for Lottery players. The app is equipped with new tech for new products.
