Jamie Foxx, Jalen Rose, Wayne Gretzky, and Barry Sanders are just a few examples.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does Merk know <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerscout.com\/guides\/how-to-play-texas-holdem\/\">how to play Texas Hold&#8217;em<\/a>, she&#8217;s one of the top content creators in the poker industry. At the 2025 GPI Awards, Merk won the Rising Star in Content Creation award.<\/p>\n<p>Merk has roughly 85,000 followers on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/abbypoker\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her Instagram<\/a>, where she posts content on a daily basis. She&#8217;s previously worked for PokerNews, Poker.Org, and WSOP amongst many other brands.<\/p>\n<p>Merk also has about 20,000 subscribers on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AbbyPoker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube channel<\/a>, where she creates poker lifestyle vlogs. She constantly discusses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerscout.com\/guides\/poker-tournament-strategy\/\">poker tournament strategy<\/a> while traveling on the road, usually covering events all over the
