High Stakes Poker had another massive night of action on Monday with tons of big pots. But the highlight of the night was yet another seven-figure pot.

Following Alan Keating’s record-setting $1.4 million pot a few weeks ago, the second-largest pot in the show’s history will be held on Monday for $1,008,500.

The seven-figure hand was contested between HSP regular Rick Salomon, a player who certainly knows how to play cash games, and Monkey Tilt online sportsbook founder Sam Kiki, a new player in this lineup. As usual, with these huge hands, the action came at the very end of the night’s session.

Keating, who is always getting involved in notable hands, lit the fuse of this hand by raising with Q♦5♠, which Salomon three-bet to 20,000 with the A♣3♣. Peter Wang was also involved in this hand as he just flatted the three-bet holding Q♥Q♠. Kiki had a monster holding as well with the A♦K♠. Salomon jammed all in, coving the others. Peter laid down his queens and Kiki called for his remaining $492,000 to create the over $1 million pot.
