Two weeks are in the books in the World Series of Poker Online at GGPoker. The international multi-day bracelet events continue to be dominated by Brazilian players.
This past week included turbo events, big-buy in tournaments and Pot Limit Omaha poker. In lieu of the annual WSOP in Las Vegas each summer, the online site is hosting 33 bracelet events through Sept. 12.

German poker pro Daniel Smiljkovic won this event last Tuesday. Smiljkovic won $423,426 for first place and his first gold bracelet. The event drew 479 entries and a prize pool of over $2.2 million.
Chinese high roller Xuming “Scplayer” Qi finished in second place for $306,145. The final table included some elite talent and included George Wolff, Marius Gierse, and Aki “Seabossss” Virtanen.
Event 9: $525 Superstack Turbo Bounty (Aug. 12)
In one of the shortest GGPoker bracelet events to date, Brazilian player Lucio “”WizardofAz” Lima took down his first gold bracelet in nine hours.
Lima certainly used some wizardry to overcome a final table that included former bracelet winner Anson Tsang. First place paid $95,205 for the victory.
Lima overcame a field of 2,229 entries, which built a prize pool of $1.1 million including bounties.
Event 10: $400 Double Chance PLO (Aug. 14)
After two days of play, Hungary’s Roland “Quina Quen” Czika took down his first gold bracelet and $55,369. The Pot Limit Omaha tournament started on Saturday night and played Day 2 on Sunday night. The prize pool reached $366,600 with 975 entries.
